"Just in time for summer, Vans is proud to announce a special shoe collaboration with German-based BMX innovators, Wethepeople. Known for their quality products and deep support of the BMX scene, Wethepeople joined forces with Vans to create a BMX shoe that not only performed on the bike, but looked stylish enough to wear all day. The result is the Calar Mid, a modern, slim mid-top that features improved comfort and ankle support thanks to a die-cut EVA mid-sole. The outsole utilizes Vans famous sticky gum rubber for superior pedal grip, along with three molded channels on the forefoot for improved flexibility while off the bike. To keep the look tight Vans matched colors used on Wethepeople’s 2010 product line and finished it off with custom logos on the sock liner. Look for the Vans x Wethepeople Calar Mid to hit shops early June. MSRP - $70"
